New kit day

The away kit is a nightmare. In away games we'll look like a team of 11 goalkeepers. The shirt on the home kit is ok. Black shorts? No.

I apologise for again posting these pictures but we really need something unique on the shirts. Many teams have white kits and I would love our white kit to be more recognisable

@CroJack ... clever design. Worth buying that shirt. Compliment that design with the purple (?) color we had for away games the other season and it’s a winner for away games.

perhaps the strategy for away games is to make the other team puke on their boots.

I like the away kit we had a couple of seasons ago.

The shorts are fine and add a balance to the shirt design, the away kit is the worst I have ever seen, awful colour and looks as if a knife has been used to stab the player in the stomach.

If the goal of changing shirt designs and colors is to promote sales of merchandise, then I don’t see how the away kit is going to sell at all ... you’d have to be blind, bizarrely color blind, or have zero fashion sense to buy never mind wear such a hideous garment.

look at videos from last season’s away fans and count the incidence of each away shirt from the the previous few seasons that are being worn. Or, simpler still, the club can look at it’s own sales per sku and determine the fashion bias of supporters willing to part with silly money for a shirt. unless Joma has total control over what they dump on the club, then nobody in our commercial department has any sense of fashion or marketing or merchandising. And if Joma are in control, then they’re taking the piss.

look at what @crokack put together ... Meaningful design, brand promoting, fashionable.

The away kit is pretty garish. The only reason I can think of for that is that it makes it easier for our lads to spot each other on the pitch. When the man in possession has finished vomiting he can pass the ball to the player he's spotted.

On the topic of short sponsorship .... From October, La Liga clubs will have to remove betting house sponsors from their shirts to comply with a new law that will come into effect.
