Millwall v Swans.

So I wonder ... what did Andy Pandy do to produce this ... hire a stripper, buy the beer for the rest of the season ... nothing to do with coaching

Not seen a full replay of that goal, but it looked about 12 passes leading up to it. Swansalona.

About time ... we finally played some decent, focused football. Squandered an auto opportunity in the process. What the hell happened to cause that dearth of production. Such a shame.

About bloody time!! Where's that sort of performance been hiding? Three great goals from open play and it could have been more. Delighted for Lowe after all the disgusting racist abuse and, apart from his excellent strikes, he worked his socks off up and down the left flank. Saw him winning a free kick down by our corner flag helping out his defenders. He's still got a few rough edges but can only get better. Great game and well done to him.

Aside from the most welcome 3 points, what pleased me most was the overall performance. After a tentative opening we took charge and fully deserved the win. Everyone played well. The press was hard and tight; movement was decent and we played with more tempo and urgency than we have in a long while. Have to be honest and say I never expected this today and it's given me renewed hope for the playoff games. If we replicate this kind of form it will take a very good team to beat us. Just one issue though. Wish Cooper would make earlier substitutions when we need fresh legs.

Decent stats for a change and we had a 50% rate of accuracy with our shooting.

As I have already posted I appreciated the greater urgency and tempo of our game today. Defenders are never happy dealing with pace and that includes the pace you find on zippy passing where the chances of interception are minimal. We've been guilty of rolling leisurely passes that are easily picked off and, even when they're not, the slow build up allows defenders to get organised. A quicker tempo all round gives them less time to settle and they don't like it. I hope that Cooper has taken note along with the sheer uselessness of throwing on subs with seconds to go.
