A consortium take over to me is a frying pan to fire senario, again a group of business men out for a profit. a situation we're in at the moment. Business men in the Middle East are now looking to the future as electric will slowly but surely cripple the petrol/diesel vehicle industry. Maybe some oil rich Sheik for the same reason, but a consortium for me is a no-no, espescially as £50M is the figure being mentioned, peanuts.

Depends on whether or not they are intent on building a portfolio of clubs like The City Group. Middle East investment groups are cash rich and understand the concept of risk and investment. In any event much better than we currently have.

K&L denying any talk of a takeover this morning. Well, they would wouldn't they? Apart from that, imo they are habitual liars, so nothing they say can be trusted. Nixon in the Sun has a good track record vis a vis footy gossip but, of course, he's not always right. This time I'm hoping he is!

Looking on the bright side 😇, as they seem to be waiting for us to stutter. If we're relegated the value will go down too.
Perhaps to the level where the Trust - does it still exist? - will be able to afford 80% of sweet FA.
