Manchester City v Liverpool

The club that comes closest to perfection until season's end will win the league. If they are both perfect, City take it by a point.

No doubt the best two teams in Europe. I wonder how the other big guns such as Barca, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG and Ajax etc would fare for an entire season in the Premier League. I think they'd find it a whole tougher than their own respective domestic leagues.

As for the game, I thought that Citeh were the better team on the night and that Liverpool were fortunate to get the draw. But for a pimple on Sterling's chest Citeh would be marching on to the title. As it is, both teams are so close that any slice of luck, good or bad, or a fortuitous run of the ball could decide this season's title winners. It should be a great watch from here on in.

I was disappointed with the Liverpool performance. Nervous, shaky and sloppy. Where has their heavy-metal football gone? They played much better football a couple of years ago. Already last season they abandoned their relentless pressing and started playing a more controlled passing football. The trouble is you can't beat Manchester City by playing passing football. You have to press them for 90 minutes, and you have to run more than they do.
