Jesse Marsch Sacked by Leeds

One of the the big complaints to Silverstein was the fact that Potter and Cooper both left because they didn't get a transfer budget. Now both are Premier League managers, Cooper actually got promoted. It's going to be hard to attract good managers. Martin is following their footsteps right out the door. Cameron would be as good as we can get and he coached the best of our academy players. I never heard why he left, if he wanted a bigger role or it if it was a financial thing. It would be telling if he turns down an offer from the ownership group since he knows who they are.

I guess we'll never know as they'd keep initial approaches very quiet, I think Cameron left because he was gutted he didn't get the first team after his brilliant work with the Unders. What more could he have done? It doesn't get any better than doing the League and Cup double against the best academies in the country!!

Potter left because BHA was a Prem club and came calling. Potter left for opportunity and more money.

Cooper ... probably left because he had delivered, which in fairness he had, and wanted a contract extension and an uptick that the Club were unwilling to offer. My conjecture. He was allowed to bring in all the players he knew, which at the time consisted of a really good batch of ex-England U17s. Look where Gallagher and Guehi are now, and Brewster is still around but the missed penalty at the Charity Shield did him in at 'Pool. Cooper also got Prem players from Wolves in Bennet and Hourihan on loan. Bennett was not a cheap acquisition. And Cooper had Ayew, who was probably on very good money.
