Lovely lady is Esme who's also a good friend of LadyGG. If there's any pics floating about then I expect I'll be getting them soon from her.Esme Allchurch receives an award at the Swans presentation evening , Franco voted players and supporters player of the year .
How bad an injury? It'd have to be something pretty serious to prevent him attending the big gala night of the year.I read that it was his injury that kept him away and that he will not be fit to play against Oxford

But I think Franco won it because he's an all action player as @jackodiamonds pointed out; not necessarily always successful in what he does but always eye-catching. And the fans love effort don't they? The finer points of the game often escape them but they can see effort; they can see sweat; they can see tackles and sprints etc but someone playing really well under the radar misses their attention. I suppose you can relate it to keepers whose intelligence, anticipation and positional sense makes it seem that the shots they save are easy because they've come straight at them; whereas a keeper who doesn't possess those attributes, much more often has to make blinding saves to rescue the situation....... and sometimes fails. I know which type of keeper I prefer.According to all the stats sites, Harry Darling is the best rated Swansea player this season. Unfair. Franco is not even in the top five. I think it's between Darling and Vigouroux, Franco is nowhere near the top.
