Incoming? And outgoing .

Played for Ponty Youth I see. Now called Pontardawe Town but it was 'Athletic' when Ivor and I were there. Do you remember Norman Lawson at the Swans, @Yankee_Jack ? He came to us as a left winger (#11) originally from Second Division Bury but later converted to a FB as many wingers used to. He managed Merthyr in the old Southern League for a while and when he got the manager's job at Ponty, asked me to go with him despite me telling him my best days were long gone. But, having played with me in a few friendlies and training matches (often involving a number of the then current Swans team), he thought I could still do a job for him. I suppose I did but I'd lost a yard of pace by then and, because of my type of business, my fitness levels were shit. That's when I first became aware of how important being properly fit really was. And we went on to do the FAW coaching course at Steboneath together along with Lenny Allchurch as I've posted previously. Strange really that I met Lenny before I met Ivor and I got on great with Len as well. They're a lovely family and LadyGG is a relative as she also is of the Charles family.

Off to Spain except for Eom - injured against Kidderminster. He is being evaluated in Fairwood

Here's the group that travelled: 3 keepers and 22 others.

Swansea City squad: Andy Fisher, Lawrence Vigouroux, Kit Margetson, Josh Key, Jay Fulton, Ben Cabango, Melker Widell, Zan Vipotnik, Josh Tymon, Cameron Burgess, Goncalo Franco, Florian Bianchini, Liam Cullen, Ricardo Santos, Bobby Wales, Zeidane Inoussa, Joel Cotterill, Ethan Galbraith, Ollie Cooper, Ronald, Sam Parker, Cameron Congreve, Arthur Parker, Blair McKenzie, Sebastian Dabrowski.

Notables: Fisher travelled. As did Blair McKenzie (U-21, 19 yo CB) and Seb Dabrowski (U-21, 19 yo, LB) ... first time hearing about them. So did Congreve and Cotterill.

No Yates 👏 👏 👏

No Ginnelly ... he's cooked obviously. No Govea either.

Birmingham have made some really good signings. If the odds were better I would put a bet on them. Demari Gray and they spent €9 million on a player from Ligue 1.

Fair play they seem a nice, well-balanced pair of lads - intelligent and articulate with an excellent grasp of our language. If they play as well as they come across, I think we've signed a couple of diamonds. (y) :)

I read Ginnelly was rumoured to be on his way out. I don't understand why, he seemed quite promising to me. Maybe he wants guaranteed minutes. I don't think we know how good he is we have hardly seen him play.
His injury record has obviously counted against him. He has ability but he can't use it on the treatment table. It's a shame but we're not a charity.
