Incoming? And outgoing .

Galbraith can apparently play anywhere. Including his Northern Ireland appearances, he's played at RB, RWB, CM, LW, RW and #10, and that was just from a dozen games I picked out at random.

Here's what Leyton Orient reddit has to say about him:

"Quite possibly one of the most talented players to ever wear red at Brisbane Road."

"...best player I've seen play for Orient since I've been going (early 2000's). I honestly don't think there's been anyone with his ability who has matched it with his drive, energy, versatility, competitiveness and consistency. A truly special player."

His stats are fantastic. The same common attributes that are showing up for every new signing these days - recoveries, interceptions, possession won in final third, tackles won, duels won - but also xG, xA, long passing, crossing and chances created.

But we need creators as well otherwise what do our strikers feed off? Let's hope that at least one of them can do that.

Widell and Galbraith are both creators, no doubt. Our wide lads and full-backs can get stuck in and make things happen too. And the strikers, well, they should be able to cook up their own chances. Don't you worry, we'll be alright; our footballing philosophy is what truly matters. If we can nick the ball back in the opposition third often enough, that's how we'll create our chances.

This was 5 years ago when Galbraith was Man United youngster. His passing range is excellent.

This is what people in the comment section wrote about him three years ago:

Such a beautiful small player... the Veratti type, the Kimmich type... the players who don't need size to flourish. I just hope he gets the chance he deserves.
I love the Xavi-esque La Pelopina turns. You included a lot of them here but he's done even more this season that didn't make the video. Turning into a signature move of his.
I think this is the kind of players man utd need in their squad, who is skill enough to drive the ball like that forward.
It's his balance that is so good. Lot's of young wonder kids don't make it in the man's game but when you have natural balance like this you are half way there. His passing is good, he isn't the next Scholes, no one is the next Scholes but he certainly can ping the ball around the pitch.
This Boy is The REAL DEAL. I wonder why our MU Coaches don't give Him a chance. Absolute BALLER, Very Talented Galbraith.

Some of them are exaggerating, but what I admire about him is the consistency of his performances. It's not as if he just flourished in one season. No, he's been excellent every season for the past five years.

No kit announcement. No new pics on the squad page without new kit. No videos, tough to see who is in and out; who is still U21 or elevated to the senior squad for preseason at least.

Shouldn't they all be in Spain by now?

At least the coaches sound as though they know what they're doing. I like the emphasis on fitness, as some of you will guess, because, as was stated in the clip, you've got fuck all chance of controlling a game, either with or without the ball, unless fitness levels are spot on.

Ivor was a fitness fanatic which was why, well into his 50s, he could withstand and deal with, the hurly-burly and outright clogging that was customary in the LOW in those days. His footballing brain and ability did the rest! Mind you, we always detailed a couple of minders to make sure that some up-and-coming young gun didn't batter him to try and make a name for himself. ;)
