And our goal difference is being wrecked. Not only that, every other team in the league will take confidence when playing us. The lazy bastards have been asking for this for a while, now they're getting it.

Swans were going in without a loss all year, Huddersfield without a win. It was just always going to go this way. Hate losing Morris, but at least we have Whittaker.

Okay, I'm calmed down now. The bigger picture -- we're still only one point behind Watford and Brentford with two games in hand, and five points in front of those behind us and two games in hand. Really a pretty good position. Let's just make it to the end of this fiasco without too much harm to our GD.

I've not calmed down! As I said, we've been inviting this for a while and it caught up with us today even before Morris' injury. This has been coming make no mistake. I fear now for the rest of the season if I'm honest.

We didn't show up today against one of the poorest teams in this league. We didn't show up against Forest as well. This is a trend now.

Sick and tired of Trunds saying this is just a blip, that we've been excellent all season. Was he there against Forest???? We were complete and utter crap!! I repeat, again, this has been coming. The Championship hasn't been a good league this season with many mediocre teams there. For the most part we've been squeaking narrow wins and I've not liked the football we've played at all. False position? Quite possibly, which I've also said before.

For me this team doesn't show enough desire, not enough attitude, very little character and not a lot of skill. Our ball retention is rubbish and our passing stats for a highly placed team have gone to hell in a handcart. It's not a case of bitterness in defeat, albeit I admit I'm VERY bitter about that performance, because I've been saying similar for a while. I've said before that I fear for us should we get to the Premier League because we'll be smashed every time we take the pitch.

Thing is, can we get back on the horse again? Coventry just bounced Brentford and, from what I saw, are well capable of doing the same thing to us as Brentford are a far better team than we are despite our respective league positions. Personally I think Coventry will take points off us if our last two games are anything to go by. I hope they don't of course but I think they will. They'll want it more.

Can someone tell me why is Cooper first taking an attacking approach when we are behind? I mean, we should be having an attacking line-up from the start. What's to fear? If we play like cowards against so poor teams like Huddersfield, then we don't deserve to be in the top six.

I think we should change formation to either 4-1-4-1 or 4-3-3 and start playing some football. Attack and attack. But that requires a lot of running and a pretty sharp and accurate passing. But most of all focus and concentration.

Saying all that, I must admit I am disappointed with some players, mostly our midfielders. We need fresh legs in the midfield and fresh thinking.
Is Cooper able to think radically? I doubt it.

Exactly and our lot are too precious to do too much of that. Or not fit enough more like!!

I have sounded like a stuck record with my complaints about our midfield over the years but fcuk all seems to have been done about it. As I've said countless times, the midfield is the engine of the team and when the engine falters, so does the team. And, as for fresh thinking, we can forget that. If the manager can't even see that in fitness terms we're not fit for purpose then we've got sod all chance of anything else.

Must point out though that I do not question the attitude and work rate of Ayew, Roberts and Fulton. The rest of 'em are riding on their backs in those aspects and it's about time they climbed off their collective arses and put in a proper shift in games and PLAY LIKE THEY MEAN IT!!
