Sheehan saying that Bobby Wales and Sam Parker would benefit from going on loan to get some game time. I agree and I think they'll both come good.

This is the knock-on effect of having brought in loanees like Casey and Sam-Smith ... we now have two of our own to loan out. Congreve seems to be having a grand time in the Scottish Prem, not sure about Lissah's playing time. Perhaps that would be a good place to drop them; better than a L1 club.

Absolutely! So would I. watched the game and Wrexham deserved the win after coming on strong second half. Perfect hat trick as well; right foot, header, left foot. LOB had a decent game as well but missed two great chances with just the keeper to beat. Grimes and Bidwell played for Coventry and they both did okay. Got a theory about Grimes and the criticism we always made about him passing sideways and backwards.
He did little of that tonight with most of his passes setting up attacking moves. This is because Coventry always had a presence and bodies up front and he had targets to find every time. He had no such luxury with us. Our recent managers all seemed to think it was okay to leave a lone striker up there with very little support and hope something happened. Hence nothing to play to up top, so pass the ball sideways or back to keep possession which was what Grimes was forced to do. Not his fault!
The comms all rated him referring to his set piece kicks as offering a significant threat as he'd been showing in recent matches. This is all a far cry from the Grimes we knew and I think it's because he has a decent manager who knows how to use him and knows that you have to have bodies up front to score goals. Wish someone had educated our managers to do the same. But all they wanted to do was copy from the safety first play book and try not to concede goals rather than attack and try to win the game. In other words, they were all limited and didn't have the ability or knowledge to do anything different.
