That really is incredible, and I'm not sure if you credit the players or the coaching staff but they have been producing talent last few years. Almost half the Welsh national squad. If Garrick turns out to be another Dan James then surely that's a golden goose.

If they want to know what a couple of years do in a footballers early life, they need to look a Dan James, 18months ago couldn't get into Shrewsbury's first team. Now a first team player with Manchester United.

Benda gone on loan to Swindon. Hope he gets some playing time and good experience this season because when Woody's loan expires we'll need options.

BAD NEWS!! Graham Potter is thinking of offering a deal to Wilf Bony. Talk about a conflict of interests for me!! :( Hope it doesn't happen.

If they can afford his wages good luck to both of them. We could not afford to keep him or wait till he is match fit....

I wonder what it was that made Graham Potter leave for Brighton. Was it the lack of commitment from the owners or not having full control of transfers with Birch coming in. Was he really after Premier League status. Whatever it was we're lucky to have Cooper and Birch.

Having the man who brought Chelsea to glory is interesting. I believe he has played a big part in keeping Baston and Ayew. I like his gambles on Peterson and Kalulu, young and promising players who might become stars. Hopefully he stays in Swansea for a few years.

Being reported that both Liverpool and Villa are looking at Steven Benda our keeper currently on loan at Swindon, where he has kept 5 clean sheets in 12 appearances. With the contracts of Nordy and Mulder up in the summer and Woody likely to return to Toon at the end of the season, we are looking pretty light in the stopper department. Can't see us letting Benda go that being the case but then, as we know, money doesn't talk at our club, it positively screams.

Agree with all that. Liverpool was Benda? I doubt were going to sign Woodman, his price tag will be high. Don't see a future in Mulder or Nordvelt. If Liverpool offers £3 the club will probably take it. He's valued only at £100,000 on transfermarkt but I'll bet they're salivating when a club with deep pockets like Liverpool is scouting their player.

Billy Sharp is going to be released by the Blades. Hear that Forest and Boro are interested. Depending on cost we could do far worse. Okay, I know he's getting on but he's experienced, gets goals and would be lethal in the Championship. Worth consideration.

In comparison to a REAL club, DC is a no risk proposition. They know exactly what their revenue is going to be within some reasonable +/- and they can therefore plan their cost structure. They finish bottom, they brush themselves off, eat a little humble pie to their supporters, and continue like nothing happened. It's almost like playing Monopoly - fake money, fake real estate, even the die can be faked or cooked - combine it with a few cocktails and it becomes even more fun.

Been reading that Sheffield United are considering a £6 million bid for Connor Roberts. I guess that this could prove a litmus test for the so-called new 'investment' that's been alleged is coming into the club. If we want to mount a serious challenge at the top next season, we need to be keeping young talent such as Connor, not flogging them off to the first vulture that comes calling.

Based on my Regressive Assists analysis, I wouldn't sell Roberts for anything less than £15m. Used as a wing-back he's an incredibly effective player. Liverpool's success means wing-backs are the glamour commodity right now, and that'll mean plenty of interest in players like Roberts. Even at £15m, I'm not selling if I'm Swansea. Guy was a production line over the last 7 games.

Seems Spurs are in for the Real Madrid left back for £30 million. Wonder where this will leave Ben Davies? Also reading today that Liverpool have accepted an offer for Brewster from the Blades, which might have Oli looking over his shoulder. That said, it's probably more likely that Billy Sharp would be the one to make way. I've always liked him as he scores goals, which would suit us if the price was right. At this level he'd be lethal for a season or two.
