Feeding the Robins in our garden

3rd round replay , will our defence scatter their usual offering of crumbs at the back or will we produce a solid defence against an improved Bristol team .
If we can provide some width we can hurt them but if we play narrow they will stifle us and look to pick us off on the break .
Should be an entertaining game , the cold weather should keep them moving a bit quicker than their normal walking pace approach!
I'm going for a nervy 2-1 win .

Don't think you're far wrong with that. I fancy a 2-1 win myself. Should we get through we'll have the luxury of a home tie to follow against an opponent we ought to be able to beat. Then after that maybe a juicy money-spinning game against a top team. Who knows....... So the incentive is there; it's up to us to make the most of it.

I think it's familiar scenes, the transfer business distracts them, they concede 2 first half goals, level it late and winning penalities. Brenda makes a crucial save at the end.

Good God, KV. You do realise that I was fitted with a pacemaker and two stents in my heart not so long ago!! Thank you very much but I think I'd prefer a 4-0 win with us cruising comfortably into the next round!

It will be a good chance to see the stark difference between Benda and Fisher ... I hope we don't, but odds are favoring it.

It had to come to this - midweek cup-tie results in a weaker side. Have Bristol made the same compromise.

MacFayden and Cotterill getting a chance to be on the bench - nice for them. Are they up to it?

It's more fun coming from behind lol. I hate penality shoot outs.

WHY is Cullen on the bench AGAIN!!!!! He's just starting to find his feet and his scoring touch as well as forging a partnership with Piroe. Now Martin benches him and interrupts the flow. Cullen is young and fit so he should be able to handle the minutes at least as well as Piroe, especially as he's played nothing like the games he could have. And he must be asking himself what he has to do to get a regular start.

Decent journeyman player who was with Leicester for ages and came to us briefly on loan without making much of an impact. Welsh international.

Something for Rainbow to cheer. She sent me a text recently bemoaning that FG were bottom of their league and looking odds on to go back down.
