Disallowed goals

Paterson was not offside when he scored against Birmingham in our first game this season. That's two points lost.

Pederson's goal was disallowed for an alleged foul by Cooper on one of the Watford players. Strange, because the same kind of 'wrestling' usually goes unnoticed by the referees. That's one, or maybe even three, points lost.

Lowe's goal against Blackburn (the second offside) was disallowed for offside. It looks like Lowe wasn't offside. This referee decision could've cost us two or even three points.

If you watch that Pedersen goal again, Watford's Sema is doing exactly the same to Jay Fulton as Oli Cooper is to Kayembe, but Cooper is called and Sema isn't. As you said, it happens on pretty much every corner.

Probably only called it because Kayembe was nearer Pedersen and might have had a chance to stop him, but is the foul the act of holding any opponent, or the act of holding an opponent the ref arbitrarily decides is important to the play? In which case, that's wisdom applied after the fact. If the corner falls short and suddenly Jay Fulton can't get to it, is it a penalty?
