Ramsay thinks he's up to the job. Let's see if he shows up fit and willing enough or expects others to do his running for him while he ghosts around. We need a team of XI not X + 1.
No great hopes for this game. I expect Croatia, who are way better than us, to win easing up.
Great point tonight although Croatia were by far the better team. Had Cullen been on the field we might even have won. He'd have buried the chance that Dan James butchered. Although we were outclassed in the game, we hung on well and stole a draw at the end. Croatia still favourites to go through but this point improves our own chances.
Well done. Ward was excellent.

Rejoice. The comeback against Croatia happened without Bale and Ramsay, but with a young cohort of players. This is encouraging.
I was not able to watch the game. For those that did, how would you asses Ramsay. Based on the graphic on BBC web site, Page had Ramsay as forward as he could without having him standing on the goal line, with all the runners lined up behind him.

Yes, but it won't happen. And with Broadhead getting a goal that I would have scored, we won't be seeing Cullen any time soon either. But I was pleased for Broadhead nevertheless. It might sound daft but I think Martin would do a better job with Wales' higher quality players than Page does. Page has only lower league experience and Martin at least has a little Championship pedigree.
But Martin plays the passing game and ball retention is vital at international level. The higher calibre of player Wales has, would mean that our defence would find it easier to play Martinball and not make the sort of mistakes that the Swan's defenders keep making. Just a thought and not because I want Martin anywhere near our national team. But neither do I want Page there.
We've been awful!! Latvia could have been 2 up before we scored but Danny Ward saved the shots. We look slow and clueless and anything less than a 4-0 win will be a poor return given that other teams in the group will fill their boots against this lot and improve their goal difference. Page's limitations unfortunately become more evident by the game. If we had a half decent coach we'd be such a better team.
Well that's 90 minutes of my life I won't get back! 
Okay, we got the 3 points which I concede was all important but what a fcuking abysmal performance. It was like watching the Swans playing in red having no idea of how to penetrate a physical, organised defence. The fact is that Latvia somehow created the better chances overall even though they had far less of the ball and concentrated their game on hacking anything in red to the ground. Other teams will murder them and boost their GD. We didn't have a clue how to do that.
We have a lot of talent in the squad but Page just doesn't have the knowledge or the ability to bring it out. Imo, he's stealing a living in a job he doesn't deserve. Some small consolation in that we had 4 players with Swan's connections on the field in Rodon, Roberts, James and Oli - and Oli should have started because Ramsey was pants. Again!! I thought that Danny Ward, Neco and Wilson had decent games, Moore battled hard and got his goal but the rest were much of a muchness.
Random irritations include S4C showing us as being top of the table when clearly that should be Croatia who have a better GD than we do. And that shrieking, screaming female who did the post match interviews. This is becoming a trend now. Women are being shoe-horned into football commentaries/punditry despite the fact that there are far more suitable and knowledgeable men who could do the job. It grates on me. Possessing a pair of tits should be no qualification for doing a job that others could do better. That applies to a dick and a pair of balls as well by the way.
The best person equipped to do the job should DO the job irrespective of sex and other PC considerations. If that means all female, all male or a mix of the two is fine by me so long as meritocracy applies. But it doesn't and people are being appointed to jobs they have no right to. That applies to Robert Page as well in my book.

None of our players were injured .... on to Cardiff. At least Martin doesn't have the excuse not to play Cullen because he hasn't had enough recovery time.
