Cooper gone ???

All of this begs the question : given his commentary during the Plymouth match, exactly how much of this Cooper saga did Curt know … “to be fair” there was nothing flattering about his commentary.

Note also, that the jobs for the boys (i.e.Woody) all dried up too. No sign of him thankfully.

And, since this was all decided two weeks ago, why did this suddenly break now. I presume that as goes Andy Pandy so go all his playmates leaving Tate and other Club-peeps behind. ???

The odds are shifting …

  • John Eustace - 1/6
  • Cameron Toshack - 7/1
  • Alan Tate - 11/1
  • Eidur Gudjohnsen - 11/1
  • Andy Scott - 12/1
  • Chris Wilder - 12/1
  • Jody Morris - 16/1
  • Russell Martin - 16/1
  • Eddie Howe - 20/1
  • Frank Lampard - 20/1

Since money matters …. The lengthening of the odds on Howe and Lampard makes sense. They wouldn’t be cheap and we know that we are nothing but cheap these days

Somebody is taking charge now through Rovers match .... Tate? O'Leary? One of Andy Pandy's teddies?
I thought O'Leary talked a lot of sense during his commentaries on the Swans. I wouldn't object if he became part of the coaching team but my preference is still for Tosh Jnr. Think he'd also get a lot of backing and input from his Dad behind the scenes too. Any doubters should take a look at his success with the 'Unders' and the number of players that came through to the first team and were then sold for decent money.

Agreed ... Toshack is the obvious choice unless some named individual with a pedigree happens to pop-up. Bringing in another outsider, especially somebody who's only ever been an assistant and has yet to earn his spurs, is asking for trouble.

Remember Paul Clement ... several years at nothing but top clubs with Ancelotti ... and yet all he managed to do was to get Sanches to pass to an advertising board.

In the interim, get Curt back to provide senior steadiness and set standards, and put a couple of lieutenants under him.

I certainly hope Tate is nowhere in the frame. He was part of the back stabbing incident that got his crony Monk the managers job at the expense of Laudrup. Jenkins was stupid enough to listen to them. I'll never ever forgive either of them for that. Justice for me would be for Laudrup to return and sack him.

Looks like Tate is in charge augmented with a couple of coaches from the U-23. It doesn't state so, but reading between the lines it looks like all of Andy Pandy's toy soldiers jumped ship with him.
Well they would wouldn't they, who else would he have to coach him, been told he wasn't in receipt of any compensation payment.
Have heard rumours Bonymaen are interested in him.
