Yes , on the official swans site now.

Let's hope for someone with some tactical nouce and an attack minded playing style.

Glad to see him go , but it's poor timing .
Let's hope his seat is filled quickly .

Expand, expand, expand! Please!! Is your source credible? Too much to hope for but, if true, roll on Tosh and I see Flynn at Newport or Nathan Jones at Luton, as possible outsiders. All three have a better idea of bringing on a footballing side in my opinion. If Cooper does go I have to say that I sincerely hope he has a long and successful career.

PS: Just read Blobs post. He has this unfortunate habit of getting in before me, the git!!! :ROFLMAO:

They really wanted to cash in on him too. Now we just need a good company man, a yes man who will go along with the owners plans.

Apparently, it was all decided two weeks ago!!! So ... the Club have had two weeks to figure out who the next guy is and who is going to be assuming control until then ... I guess they didn't want Tate to assume control.

No wonder the players were mailing it in against Plymouth

"Swansea City can confirm that head coach Steve Cooper has decided to leave the club. Cooper had 12 months remaining on the three-year deal he signed upon arriving at the Liberty Stadium in the summer of 2019. Despite efforts by the club to enter dialogue with regards to a contract extension, it was subsequently agreed by both parties to mutually part ways ahead of the 2021-22 season."

Thank you Steve for not accepting a contract extension.

I guess he realised that what little remained of the Potter influence has finally disappeared. With talisman Ayew also having disappeared, the player who so often got us out of a hole, he would be having to rely entirely on his own resources and ability and I reckon he just didn't fancy it. My one hope is that we appoint a manager who can get us playing passing football again and has a firm grasp of what is needed for us to do that.

I think Potter's influence disappeared as soon as Cooper took over two years ago.

I know many Swansea fans will be disappointed with Cooper's departure. Many of them think that being two seasons in a row in play-off places is a huge acchievement. I think they are wrong. We haven't acchieved anything that would give us a hope for the future. I really don't care about the play-off places and promotion as long as we play excellent football. And everyone knows that we haven't played excellent football under Steve Cooper. There have been patches of excellent football but these patches were exception to the rule. It should be the other way around.

Reading that John Eustace, the assistant QPR manager, is the favourite to take over. Nothing against him but I hope not. Seems he interviewed well when Cooper got the nod but what the hell have QPR achieved that would impress anyone? Also read that Tate fancies the job and as far as I'm concerned he can piss off. I won't bother listing any of the several thousand reasons why he's not suitable but, if I say that I'd prefer Cooper to stay rather than appoint him, you'll get an idea of the depth of my antagonism to the idea. Perish the thought!!

For reasons we all know about, in the absence of our appointing an experienced footballing manager who would take us to the next level, I'm all for giving Cameron Toshack the job. Okay, there's no guarantees that he'd succeed but if he failed at least he'd fail trying to get us to play football the proper way.
