Crap first half , we are not ready for next week's kick off .
Piroe went on a run????? A brisk stroll more like. I get that this is only a friendly BUT it's the last one before the season starts and we look nowhere near ready in terms of anything!! Charlton are more at it whilst we're just fumbling around with no urgency, no pace and even fewer ideas about how to break down a League 1 defence. It's pretty awful and Martin doesn't have the lack of preparation or time as an excuse this season.
We need to show FAR more in every aspect second half and already I'm beginning to fear the season ahead. Terrible!!

Regressed in a number of critical areas. Fulton and Naughton are the only players showing any quality.

I don't want anyone to take Piroe now. Martin is too loyal to his former Dons, Fisher needs to play with the U23 squad.

What we are witnessing is the result of piss poor preseason and matches against lower level opposition none of which we took to task. All of which led to the usual platitudes of self enfranchisement and faux pats on the back. Martin didn’t have the balls to test the squad against serious opposition. Charlton on the other hand are playing up against us and legitimately feeling good about the game.
as I opined in another thread a week ago, Charlton is still lower level but clearly well composed and coached that are showing us up in too many areas. And Rotherham is going to give us a right working over. Positional deficits have not been recognized and addressed.
