(Burnley, Blackburn, Norwich, Preston and Bristol have played 18, Coventry 15, and Huddersfield 16 games!)

When it comes to creating high-quality chances Sheffield United are in a different league.
Swansea and Norwich excellent.

Burnley and Blackburn are the only two teams who have scored
more goals than they have created chances. Clinical.

This table explains why Burnley are top of the league.
They have a clinical attack and a super solid defence.
Interestingly, they are the only team who have conceded more than they have allowed chances against.

Birmingham, Preston, Burnley and Sheffield United
have the best defenders.

The top three in this xPoints table will be fighting for the automatic promotion places.

QPR look solid, and Watford can be in the top six soon.

Not hitting the target should be regarded as professional negligence as pro footballers train every day and have every opportunity to practise until they can hit their spot with their eyes closed. Of course nobodys' perfect and the odd kick will be missed. But I believe that anything less than a 90% conversion rate is unacceptable.

Interestingly, there is a big difference between the left and right sides, 20 % in the middle, and 10 % in the bottom. Probably because most players are right-footed.
