We don't compete. The other team is fresh and they carry the edge. We also seem to start slow in the second half ... Andy Pandy's half time talk doing us the world of good there. We are particularly poor between 5th and 15th, 20th and 30th, and between 40th and 45th minute. Why?
I don't know, but there is a significant change in the expected goals and expected points table. A couple of months ago we were in the bottom half, now we are in 9th place. We create better chances now, and as I mentioned before it's Gallagher's creativity and Brewster & Garrick's pace up front that has rocketed us up in the xG and xP table. It's a pity we have been poor defensively, but now with Rodon and Cabango as centre-backs I'm sure we'll improve in that department unless Cooper gets a 'bright' idea to play Guehi there again.@CroJack ... any changes in our position in those Quad graphs you produced a month or so back.
They have analysed every match minute by minute to see when exactly the teams were winning, drawing and losing. Then they calculated the average. Then they converted that to points to see where would the teams be in the Championship table.Very interesting. What are they measuring?
