The worst thing is that apart from Leeds all these so called top teams are nothing special. FFS, we used to laugh at Burnley and their style of play.

Key fannying around with it in his own third again

Key has long been a defensive liability and I've often commented on the times he gives away the ball in a dangerous position either losing possession or via a misplaced pass. He's one of those who needs to recognise his limitations and play within them. He does offer something but further upfield. In defence he's an unmitigated disaster and I blame our coaching staff for failing to see it when the rest of us can.

Note how Burnley get bodies in the box to make the most of rebounds when they arrive. We get one or two in oppos's boxes and expect them to compete against a mass defence. Note also Burnley's pass and MOVE game compared to our pass and WATCH game. All that should be laid at the door of the coaches. If they can't get that message across then they won't get anything across. All Burnley are doing are the basics of good football. There's no rocket science involved here, just a rudimentary knowledge of what's required to play the game. We don't even have that.

And that's because we have coaches who appear to know fuck all about how to play the game. Let's be honest, the average man in football has the intelligence of a house brick and that includes many managers/coaches. Just because they've been lucky enough to have been in the game for years doesn't qualify them to be regarded as experts. If they don't have the intelligence to apply their experience then what use are they?

When we have a free header around the opposition six yards box we almost always hit their keeper. I am really curious why is that happening.
