Bristol were missing 11/12 players from their squad. But even they worked us out and in the final 30 minutes gave as good as they got and comfortably won the game. Just a bit of perspective.
They didn't work us out.

1. Bristol goal

A sloppy pass from Houri, and a failed clearance from Guehi.

2. Bristol goal

A goal directly from a corner-kick.

3. Bristol goal

Woodman assists.

All true but for the last 30 minutes Bristol were as good as us in general play. As for the first half, if Wilf had been playing we WOULD have gone in 3 goals up at the break as even Pearson admitted we should. You can't play this game without a proper striker and we ain't got one.

And that's all she wrote!! When we needed to hoof it at the end we pussy-footed about to no effect in midfield, lost the ball and buggered our GD even further. If that idiot Cooper waffles about us not being our usual self tonight he needs reminding that we haven't been 'our usual self' for God knows how long. As for fatigue, Cooper himself has said it was irrelevant. Irrelevant?! He's worked some of those players to death and it shows. On tonight's showing how is he going to justify not playing Whittaker before now? How is going to excuse the lack of a genuine #9? Why doesn't he use his subs sooner to give players a rest? No confidence in them? And why don't people at the club such as Tate, Curt, Mike Marsh or even Trunds take him to one side and tell him some home truths? And I think that KO'L has forgotten more about league football than Cooper knows. Not that I want him as manager.

Our lack of goals, even attacking threat, is NOT ACCEPTABLE, Mr Cooper. Can you get that into your head? And the sooner the fucking better! I'm not knocking Lowe because he's a wideman hopefully converted by Cooper to a striker. Lowe works his socks off but he'd be more useful out wide, which is his natural game. I mean the guy can barely head the ball, not exactly a glowing attribute for a striker.

I called this result because I sat on the fence earlier having no confidence in our ability to score a goal without the referee's help. I'm also saying now that we won't go up in the top two and I don't believe we'll do it via the playoffs either; that's if we even make them. As for the Cardiff game we need to bounce back but going on current form we won't do it.

Conclusion? Despite our position in the table, I feel it isn't deserved and I would vote Cooper out NOW. It won't happen for all sorts of reasons but we'll never get anywhere with him at the helm. Chris Wilder anyone?

They were as good as us for 30 min, but not better than us, and definitely didn't deserve to win that game. As for Wilf, I agree with you, but on another day we would have scored a couple of goals. We were just unlucky and Bristol keeper had an excellent game.

Ivor, he should never have been given the job in the first place. I said that when they employed him, and I still stand by it.
His post match interview is like a stuck record. He actually believes we're doing ok. " It didn't work tonight but we'll keep playing the way we are."
