It is with a heavy heart that I regret to inform you of the passing of my twin brother Phil. ( borini )
He suspected that he picked up covid while working at the DVLA , he passed away at home today at 4.30 pm.
I am devastated, he texted yesterday " I'm OK thanks " when I asked for an update on his illness . I had no idea that he was that ill , no doubt he didn't want me to worry too much.
I will miss him terribly.

OMG, I can't believe it. I am soooo sorry @The Blobster. Since I met you both at The Harvester on one of my infrequent trips over you and he have been the epitome of the kindness and camaraderie of the Jack Army. You must be bereft and my thoughts are with you and all the family. The Swans suddenly seem so insignificant when news like this comes along, but in my mind the season is now dedicated to @Borini .

Thanks for the picture.
I followed the hearse in my car but did not enter the crematorium. When all the attendees went inside I nipped out to see the floral tributes but took no pictures.
My sincere thanks to all who contributed to the tribute.

It was indeed. Phil, Borini, you will never be forgotten on here by your mates. Roll on next season when the Borini Prediction League will be in full swing and you can look down as an interested observer. Mind you, we'll not be accepting any God assisted predictions from you!!
