Further to my post #139 I dropped off my daughter in Ammanford then popped to Tesco for fuel and some smokes. I didn't need anything else but took a trolley just in case....... I caught the guy just as he was doing the markdowns. Without listing the lot I bought 2 Tex Mex chicken and mustard with potato and onion hash; 2 sausages and mash; 2 braised steak and mash; dusted haddock fillets; smoked haddock loin; pork loin steaks; minted leg of lamb joint; Hunter's chicken; Finest king prawn, garlic and chilli pizza (just eaten that for dinner); Chinese curry; Thai red curry; Aberdeen Angus diced beef; diced lamb and lots, lots more.

The bill should have come to £93.85 and I paid £23.81 saving £70.04 and I've now got enough really nice food in my freezers to feed me for the next two months. In total, my Christmas Eve and Boxing Day savings amounted to £152.90, so I'm well pleased with that .

Aye, I would. But that's because I would still be in control of my performance and eventual result. However my predictions have been made, done and dusted and there's nothing I can do to change or improve them. So I don't bother to check until all the results are in.

Just checked my results, BTG, and they were abysmal on both the Prediction League and 7otb. I got 100% of sod all in effect! Where exactly do you think I got 100%? Apart from my dreams that is and you're not privy to those. I might get arrested if you were!!

If you add your correct scores to your correct outcomes they come to over 100. No biggy, I know, but some league members haven’t achieved it yet. (Not including those who have taken their bat home).

Good news, they’ve revived the fixture for me. Tricky, but Roy Hodgson will have the best part of two weeks, so I’m predicting a 0-5 win for him!
