How so? Not much happening with the Swans but at least we've had some footy with the Euros. Being a Brit as well as Welsh I hope England win it despite some dire performances. But Spain look the best team to me and I think they should win the competition. Some great football from them.

I mean the Swans pre-season. No signings yet.

Other than that this summer has been really interesting.

Woods gone. Yates gone. Just Fisher remains. Perhaps we can loan him out to Ragged School.

some updates: Lowe is now with Wednesday. Placheta without club. Walsh without club. Wayne Hennessy without club.

Keeper has to be a #1 priority.

here is a list of free agent keepers …Free agents

Top of the list David de Gea🤷🏻‍♂️ been without a club since he left United a year ago.

Didn't realize he's playing for Denmark at the Euros but out of contract. What a steal he would be. At 37, he may not be in demand by premier level clubs, but he would certainly provide considerable value to us.

If we did sign Kaspar and, as a club, he was impressed with us, between himself and his dad they have a lot of contacts in the game and could put in a good word for us with them. Recommendations like that are part and parcel of the football world. Who knows, we just might get some Scandy talent coming our way. And there's a lot of it.

Don't forget the Laudrup connection. I've never heard him say a bad word about us or his time here. In fact, he has stated that winning the League Cup with us ranked as one of his most important achievements ... which says everything that can be said.

At this point, with no new arrivals ... my starting line-up is looking like this:

Fisher (🤬)

Darling - Grimes - Cabango (yes, Grimes in the back-line)

Key - Allen - Abdulai - Tymon

Ronald - Cullen - Ginnelly

3-4-3. I've seen enough of Abdulai and his skill and athleticism to put him centrally on the field where he can have the greatest impact.. Allen would make the whole thing tick. If the opposition are only playing one up top then when in possession Grimes could play a tad further forward.

Grimes has played in defense many times in the past, first as a LB, then, if you remember, against City in Potter's FA Cup tie as a CB. He did a good job in both positions.

Ronald and Ginnelly would play more inside giving the full width to Key and Tymon.

Weakest link = Fisher, so the more we keep the ball down the other end of the field the better.

Names like Naughton, Fulton, Cooper are on the bench, but they can have a significant impact coming on for the last 30. Allen is a 60 minute man.

Guillermo Ochoa or Kasper. Two brilliant additions.

It's a bit concerning that there haven't been any loan announcements yet but then international competitions always seem to delay transfer happenings. We all wait for the big boys to pilfer 'our' stocks before making our moves on the scraps.

Have you forgotten this new Korean lad who can also play out wide? I doubt we've signed him to warm the bench although we might gentle him in from there. Pato could yet sign although I'm beginning to doubt his attitude. At his best he's a definite asset though.

Korean lad is not here yet. Somebody is fucking us around there. When he arrives we can start making changes. Pato is aging out. He's an impact sub at best or should be. I have not seen him in the preseason training videos. I have seen Nathan T-A-O a lot - big and mobile - listed as a LB.

Frankly, I had forgotten all about Pato. Crojack's favorite is not playing ball, but he's thrown tantrums in the past. His contract has expired, but Transfer Market is still listing him in our squad!?! We need to move onward and upward from Pato. At 32, if we can't find a 23 year-old to do more and better WTF are we doing. Pato is worth a season by season deal, nothing more, so if he sulks at not playing we can jettison with minimal cost.
