The whispers are getting a little stronger out here regarding Bony joining Fenerbahce

Reports here are that Besiktas want him on loan but won't stump up the 3 mill loan fee the swans are asking for .

Remembering him at his best, in many ways I'll be sad to see him go. He scored some terrific goals for us but if he's lost his fitness then he's no use to us. He never had any pace to lose so that hasn't altered - his strength has always been his strength and I doubt he's lost any of that.

But if Pots intends to use a fast, fluid, mobile system then Bony just wouldn't suit it, so the proverbial bullet has to be bitten. Here's a reminder of the goals Bony got for us: right foot, left foot, very powerful in the air and note the economy of effort when he scored them - always the mark of a top striker. Now, if we could get THAT Bony back, he'd be worth keeping no matter what the system.

Besiktas are the in form team atm ,money could well be the stumbling block as the T/lira has hit an all time low. in the last few months the exchange rate for the T/lira against the £Stirling has gone from 3.4 to 6.3. I now get almost double from when I first came out.

He'll probably come out here and replicate Bafi Gomis and average a goal a game.

I think it would be in Bony's career interests to stick with Swansea, recover his fitness, and tear up the Championship. His rep has taken a huge hit these last few seasons, but we all know what he's capable of. If he is agitating for a move because he doesn't want to drop down a level, then he needs to take a look at himself. He was getting, what? £120,000 p/w to recover from a season-ending injury most of last year. The least he could do is justify that investment before jumping ship.

That would involve loyalty and cotmmitment , something totally alien to the mind of the modern day footballer whose agent will be pushing for him to move so he can take another slice of the pie.
The only way Bony will be pulling on a Swans shirt again is if no one else will take a risk on his fitness and splash out on his obscene salary.
Personally I hope he stays , gets his fitness back , terrorises championship defenders , gets us promoted and EARNS his next payday !

I wanted Bony coming back to be a success for all parties, but really we all knew deep down it wasn't going to work with Bony having spent the better part of 2 and a half years without seeing a football pitch on matchday.

Aye, you're probably right but I'd still like to see a fit Bony unleashed on Championship defences if we possibly could. But don't think it will happen.
