How many can you name ... I am missing a few. The Club published this (Peterson follows in famous Swansea City footsteps | Swansea ) as from 1970-71.

Back Row: Geoff Thomas, Brian Evans, Tony Millington, Barry Hole, Don Payne, Keith Evans(?), David Gwyther
Middle Row: Alan Williams, Wyndham Evans, Glen Davies, Clive (Joey) Slattery, Phil Holme, Alan Sullivan,
Front Row: Alan Beer, ????, Willie Screen, Herbie Williams, Tony Screen, Peter Jones, Len Hill

There are quite a few players from '70-71 not in the picture. Can you name them?

Although not in the photo, I thought Mel Nurse was our centre half in 1970
He was, under Roy Bentley before he retired. In 1970/71, Dai Davies played 8 games before leaving for Everton. Other players with appearances in brackets who played that season include: Carl Slee (44), Vic Gomersall (13), Dai Lawrence (12), G. Ingram (5), T. Cotton (7), Len Allchurch (26), D. Rosser (13), D. Morgan (2), A. Sullivan (3), K. Evans (2).

Interestingly, when Barnsley were 2-0 winners at the Vetch on 12 March 1971, they brought an end to a sequence of 19 unbeaten matches by us.

Not sure, but around that time there were two 'Screens' played for us, Billy Screen and ???Screen.
I pointed them out in my name listing.

Btw, this was the season where Herbie switched to center half with the absence of Mel Nurse. In the previous season he partnered Gwyther up front. I also seem to remember that Tony Screen started as a central defender then switched to forward.
