Benda Done for the Season

Turns out Benda's injury is pretty bad.

So this means Fisher (goodbye positive goal difference) or a loan 'keeper for the remainder. Not great news for a team that plays defence like they're running a charity for opposing strikers.

From bad to worse.

Fisher is a disaster waiting to happen. Couple this with Darling's panic moments. It's going to be a shit show. Our 3rd string keeper has no significant senior level experience. I was never impressed with Woody, but even he was better than Fisher.

So the season is done. Now we're in a battle to avoid relegation.

Benda has been pretty poor lately and I am disappointed with his performances. Poor positioning, doesn't collect crosses when he could and should...

This situation with our goalkeepers reminds me of Nordfeldt and Mulder. Neither good enough.

Benda made the most of his chance it's a shame, he was clearly better than Fisher. A real shame for him and us. We are going to sign another young and inexperienced keeper I would imagine. I think they were interested in Darlow from Newcastle, an experienced backup Premier league keeper would be ideal. Fisher is going to have a tough time getting us into 6th place.
