Saw this and it must have been a brilliant watch. Well done Wrexham! Many years ago in my youth, Liverpool came to the Vetch for a second division game. They went 2-0 up then 3-2, then it was 4-2 and, as time was running out, Brayley Reynolds, our centre forward got injured. There were no subs in those days and injured players were put out on the wing if they could manage to stay on the field. So Brayley limped on wide right as we attacked the old Double-Decker end and we actually scored twice to make it 4-4. Then, with time running out, Brayley hooked the ball into the six yard box from the right touchline where it must have hit a divot before turning like a fast off-break in cricket going over the line and into the net. What a finish, ending 5-4 to us in one of the most exciting games I've ever watched.
