Yeah, shame that Reading scored. I was liking the goal difference.
And it's working well.Looks like sanity is back doing team selection.

Yes, a great win, but had it not been what an expensive miserable day it would have been for you travelling Jacks. Can never understand these clubs that charge extortionate prices in their concourse, they look to make a killing on the day but probably lose out due to their prices. It was cool damp and cloudy in Reading as the 2k away fans arrived at the ground, sited in the middle of an industrial park.
We scrambled to find a watering hole with the only outlet being a hotel. The expensive concourse was the only place then, serving their £5 a pint beer in plastic glasses, and their almost as expensive balti pies. There was a sole burger bar outside, and they wanted £3 for a portion of chips, no thanks.
The match itself was a delight as we picked our best team for once, and our normal formation and proceeded to outplay Reading.
McBurnie headed home after only two minutes which set the pattern of dominating the match. Three goals up at half time, the other two coming from Roberts and Van der Hoorn
Second half ended up 1-4, there was an early penalty for McBurnie for number four after Routledge was fouled in the box by a previous target of ours, Yiadom.
We sat on our lead and Reading came back into it scoring late in the game on 77 mins through sub Harriet.
What a fine win, sending the Jack Army home happy and a great start to the new year
