Woodman Return

Looks like Woodman is coming back after signing a new deal with Newcastle. Possibly 4 year contract. I know many want Benda to be given the spot but Woodman did help us get to the playoffs.

Actually Mulder helped us get to the playoffs - Woody was too wooden between the posts. This is not a good choice at all. Certainly not my first choice.

Woodman is a good young keeper but he's still got lots of learning to do; he's not very good at commanding his area and he's rarely comes to catch the ball. We saw with Raya from Brentford how important it is to have a keeper with no fear who will come and collect. Woodman will improve over time but who knows if that will be this upcoming season. I'd be fine with giving Benda a chance.
