Can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to this. Bookies favouring the huge punching American but I've got a sneaking feeling that Fury might edge it if he can nullify Wilder's punching power. Both are unbeaten so something's got to give. The odds must favour Wilder because Fury has been out of it for so long bar two nothing fights that were no more than part of his training. But Fury has had to shed 10 STONE in weight to get down to 18 stone odd. During his inactivity he ballooned to over 28 stone. Given his drink, drug and mental health problems, Fury's condition will be all important for this fight and his problems won't have aided his cause. But he has a chance. He is way above Wilder in terms of boxing ability and the 6ft 7" American won't have had too much experience of fighting someone taller than himself - Fury clocks in at 6ft 9"".
Wilder was often in trouble in his last fight against Ortiz that he eventually won by KO, which must give Tyson some encouragement. If he can dodge Wilder's windmill swings until the later rounds, his superior boxing could well count but that's easier said than done. Fury's footwork, which is excellent for so big a man, will defintely be needed to stay out of punching range. Should make for a fascinating contest.
