TO HULL AND BACK

With apologies to OFAH we might have a better chance if we were managed by Del Boy and Rodders! Seriously, though, this is a game we should win given Hull's problems at the moment. They haven't got a W on their record for the last SEVEN games and they're in a worse predicament than we are. Yes, believe it or not, there are teams doing worse than we are right now and Hull is one of them. Beaten 0-3 in their last game against Blackburn, they had no fewer than 12 of their main players out for whatever reason, the majority of whom will also miss out against us. All set fair for a win then!

You might think so but given our propensity for losing games against teams with poor recent form, nothing can be taken for granted. Amazingly, despite that awful game on Tuesday that Sky (bet they regretted it!!) chose to cover, we haven't been booted off the schedule, so we can all look forward to another X rated performance on Friday night. However, with absolutely no conviction whatsoever, I think we might nick this one. Why? Well for me it's more about the players than any master plan that Cooper can deliver. He hasn't got one. I'm hoping that they are feeling so ashamed about Tuesday, they'll put in that extra effort to deliver something for us. Personal pride and all that....... if they've got any.

So, given that we will be playing a side bang out of form and decimated by injuries, I'm going for a low scoring (what else?) one goal win that Cooper and the board will hang their hats on for the following run of crap performances. That is the most likely scenario but, ever the optimist, I'm hoping that if we do win it will prove to be the catalyst the team needs to kick on and show us that they do indeed know how to play football.

They sold Bowen in January, and he was their best and most influential player. So, it doesn't surprise me their form has dipped recently. Let's see what the 'magician' Cooper has in his magic hat. Knowing that magicians usually have rabbits in their hats we are not going to see any pumas on the pitch on Friday :ROFLMAO:.

Another strange selection and especially who enters and drops from the bench.

Ayew is #9 .... right, has to be. Or Celina or Routs is a false 9. I presume Brewster is being rested!?!

Rodon is dropped or injured, replace by Wilmot. Cabango stays on the bench!?! Guehi keeps his place.

I guess the midfield is Grimes / Fulton / Gallagher. Dhanda dropped to the bench.

Routs and Celina partner Ayew.

On the bench, Cullen is dropped and Garrick and Dyer reappear. What is Dyer doing there; surely Cullen should stay. Kalulu is dropped.

Here we go ... we’ve galloped over the crest of the hill with a team picked by pulling numbers out of hat. Will Hull grasp this opportunity to win.

If you haven’t noticed Andy Pandy has finally succeeded in replacing our homegrown CBs with his pets - Guehi and Wilmot.

1-0 ... make shift back line opens up and nobody is marking their right mid at the back of the box. Where was Gallagher

Gallagher and Fulton were both on the right side of the field just then .... who the hell was watching our left flank
