Unfortunately it's beginning to look as though there will be no 7otb this season as the betting company involved have withdrawn and are paying off people who still have money with them. I gleaned all this from Rainbow who says that the game should be up and running by now if it was going to happen. I have a tenner still with them and I hope to post a link supplied by Rainbow for anyone to contact them if they so wish.
Such a shame because I really enjoyed the game and would still play even if there were no prizes involved as it was a good craic. As some might remember, I won £250 during the first season so, in fiscal terms, I did well out of it but I shall miss the game for the fun it offered.
Asked Rainbow how we did against her lot and she tells me that they beat us but was not forthcoming about the name of her team. The lady tells no lies so I believe her but I'd still like to know how close we got.
Anyway, there's still a week to go before the PL kicks off so I'm hoping that something might yet happen.
