We have a lot of good history against these, can't see any reason why it shouldn't continue today. JB's 2-0

FIFA has us losing 0-1 with Celina as our best player and Dyer having a 'mare in a fun article in WOL. My first thought was 3-1 to us but perhaps 2-1 is more realistic.

No Oli today. A new dawn. A new #9, or perhaps a retread if Borja starts. Too soon to see Peterson other than on the bench unless Cooper really sees him as a Sinclair Version 2 ... depending on him passing through international clearance.

Keeper .... Murder or Nothing. Murder for me. Although Woodman wasn’t brought in to be an ornament.

Subs: Kristoffer Nordfeldt, Kyle Naughton, Ben Wilmot, Barrie McKay, Yan Dhanda, Kristoffer Peterson, Courtney Baker-Richardson.

Woodman is not an ornament. He arrives. He starts. Says volumes of Cooper’s assessment of Murder and Nothing. Nothing is on the bench, and I believe Benda is injured. I thought Murder looked the better of the two seniors in preseason.

No Routs. His he still injured. Wilmot on the bench and Peterson not dressed. I presume Peterson’s paper work is not cleared yet.

My comms bemoaning the fact that Celina is just not getting involved as he is out wide. I hope that Cooper picks up on this because we have a class striker BUT HE NEEDS SERVICE!!!!!! Game going the way that FIFA predicted in that we are getting good possession but Hull picking us off and looking dangerous with speedy counters. This needs changing, so we'll see what Cooper's made of with his half time talk and if he addresses the problem.

Celina is wasted out wide.

Bidwell can get up the field, but struggled to get back. In fact he makes little effort to do so.

Keepers .... :censored:

It's going to be a long season isn't it? They look lost without James and Oli, James was massive in taking over games. It will be interesting to watch him in the Prem.
29' Dyer had a nice hustle fighting 3 players for the ball, made a couple of figure skating spins between players. No one is really standing out for the Swans. I hope they figure it out as a team, it may be a slow start to the season again as players and teammates figure each other out.

41' Celina out ran defenders around 41' to the ball in front of goal, the only time it looked like someone was going to step up and be James this year. I'm not sure who the fastest player on this team is now. Hull is stopping everything, they get back in formation very quickly, everyone defending. Swans haven't had one good chance, Roberts has had a couple of long range shots that went wide.

45+2' Rodon nearly gave up a 2nd goal passing it to Hull, but the shot was right to Woodman. I'd like to see Wilmot start in place of Rodon,
Can't keep selling off our top players every transfer window. Borja will likely be gone in January and Baker-Richardson is going to have to step in.

Trevor Birch interviewed by Radio Wales at half time said that Oli's transfer has given the club flexibility vis a vis Borja's situation and that the likelihood is that the Spaniard will now be staying with us. :) BUT, as Ian Walsh commented, he's the type of striker that needs service, so LET'S EFFING WELL GIVE HIM SOME.

Ha ha, as I write he scores!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COYS.
