SWANS 2nd 11 V CAMBRIDGE

Prediction Champ
With the game against Leeds coming up on Saturday I can't see Cooperman starting any of our regulars in this game.
A chance for our fringe players to show what they can do if they are seriously trying to force their way into our regular match day squad.
They will need a much less disjointed performance than they gave in the last round when only a great cameo from Ayew dragged them into the second round.

Yes your right Blobs, we can't afford an injury in any department, and again as you say, this is their opportunity to prove themselves.

I hope they give Liam Cullen a start up front. Not seen a great deal of him neither has he 'starred' when I have watched him. But I definitely sense a good player in there and, as we all know, strikers can literally be worth their weight in gold if they crack it. And, if he does perform well, he'll add invaluable depth to our league squad. And on this subject, I make no apologies for commenting again about what a great job Toshack and Richards are doing with our youngsters. I hope they are aware of the value we attribute to them. You don't take the hard work and success like theirs for granted. Thanks, guys, we appreciate the HUGE contribution you are making to the club's success. (y)

This has almost become the forgotten game, especially with one of our most important games to be played on Sat.
Don't think there will be a big turnout for this one.
Just 4K turned up for this venue at Cardiff last night, with 3,999 regretting that.

I wanted to go tonight and was planning to but I got a right soaking walking Hector this morning. With the weather being unsettled I can't take the risk of getting another one tonight (walking from car to ground) and having to sit in wet clothes for two hours. When I had my cancer surgery they removed a lot of my lymph nodes, which left me with a very fragile immune system. Getting wet was something I was told specifically to avoid at all costs as it could quickly become pneumonia. So no game for me I'm afraid. :(

Key Player
Strong team. Neither Naughton nor Byers will not be starting against Leeds

Clearly Mulder has dropped off the radar as the reserve keeper. McKay can barely make the bench after being one of our stronger players during preseason.

A chance for all the reserves to stake a claim to more consideration.

Thoughtless bastards!! Just because I couldn't make it :ROFLMAO:. But at least I'm catching the goals on Sky. No radio coverage that I can find but highlights on Quest tonight at 10:30.
