Scum Away (swim away)

When you have a player like Borja on the bench and there are players at the 60 minute mark whose quality has either been suspect all game or are not at the physical level of output at the start of the game ... and the opponent is not going to sub their CBs ... then FFS use a sub, introduce additional energy, change the setup, move threats around. What could possibly be worse.

Andy Pandy basically said he had no tactical vision for how to tip the balance of the game in our favor.

Potter would have moved Grimes to left back and put Fulton in midfield.

Potter would have swapped off Routs for Kalulu or Borja and moved Brewster wide.

Potter would have done something with Celina; who spent the majority of the game not controlling the center and working off Brewster as Dhanda would have done, but trying to be the winger he isn't on the left side.

It wasn't the grass that was the problem, it was the inability of our midfielders to pass the ball accurately. They have been the same at the Liberty where the grass is cut to suit our style of play. Yet they still consistently fcuk it up! Grimes was pants again today: Celina and Byers were little better. The choice not to use subs was terrible. Cooper claims it was because he expected 'someone' to produce a moment of magic to win the game. In my opinion he lacked the courage to bring a game-changer on because he wanted to hold onto the point we had. We didn't have a shot on target until the 80th minute ffs!!

Routs was doing not very much either so I would have brought on Kalulu who has the pace to trouble the cumbersome Cardiff defence. Dhanda would have refreshed a tiring midfield with fresh legs and Borja with his height and physicality would have presented a stronger challenge in the final stages than Brewster who lacks game time. And Fulton was also an option with his greater aggression and strength in the middle. Some stats:

POSSESSION: 50-50 SHOTS: 14-12 OT: 3-1 CORNERS: 4-8 FOULS: 16-11 GOALS: Bugger all!!

The more I see of our team, the more I despair: more so because players such as Grimes have been saying that we're playing some good stuff, better than in recent seasons. Is he serious?!! Our passing sucks; our movement is almost non-existent; our fitness levels are barely adequate and God knows what our tactics are in any given game and I doubt that Cooper knows either.

Maybe it will be a blessing if we're not promoted this season (not that I think we will) because if we were, we'd be slaughtered on a weekly basis. The present squad can barely cope at this level and we can forget about the owners buying in quality to help because they won't. They'll just see it as an opportunity to fill their greedy wallets and pay investors while they watch our club go to Hell in a handcart. They make me sick!:mad:

Arm of honor. It's an obscene gesture in Romanic countries, Eastern Europe and some parts of Scotland. It means f*** off. We use it in Croatia.
I love it, beautiful. Should have got the result but having a former player support his mates and the team like that means a lot. I hope it shows other players that they should come sign with Swansea. What a legend.

I think that means 'Good Driving' in Italy. I still can't get over the fact Cooper or whatever he's called now didn't use a single substitution during that match. If for no other reason, why not give Borja or another player minutes. Why do we have so many players if we're not going to play them.

It seems like the one constant this season is the 2 back defenders of Grimes, Fulton, Byers. Maybe try a different formation put Peterson and McKay back there. Would it hurt our defense that much? I don't know. I'm sure Grimes earned his Captain band in the dressing on the practice pitch I don't know. Need to start chipping away at our goal differential.
