It is with a heavy heart that I post the following: Garry Monk has been SACKED by Sheffield Wednesday for poor results. Quite spoilt my week hearing that!  :ROFLMAO:

It’s not April 1st. So I don’t understand why he’s been fired. Wed started the season at -10 points, they are now at +6. If the club execs hadn’t run the club into administration, he would now be at +16 and 11th in the table.

I’m happy he’s been fucked again, but he wasn’t doing that bad a job,.

Wed started the season with -12 points, but a couple of weeks ago it was changed to -6 points. From 11 games they earned 12 points, so they have 6 points. With 12 points, and without deduction, they would sit between 19th and 21st place now, depending on goal difference.

"Here today gone tomorrow". Could be Garry Monk's motto - five clubs in six years and sacked by every one of them. Clearly there is more to this than just his lack of football knowledge; I think he's just not a good person and, like he did with Laudrup, he just can't handle having people above him and so sets up vendettas and behind-the-back campaigns that eventually come back to bite him.

If his, say, 2 year contract was paid off each time hello was sacked that amounts to 10 years’ salary for 6 years’ work.
That is some business model.
Yes, Mr Monk has fared very well out of failure.

Whatever the truth of this, he regally shafted our football club with his devious, knife-in-the-back conspiracy against Michael Laudrup whom I regard, along with John Toshack, as the best manager we ever had. Certainly we were never the same club when Laudrup left us and our demise started from the minute the gutless Idiot emailed Laudrup that fateful day. I get depressed whenever I think of the quality bargains that Laudrup could have brought to the club over the years such as Michu and Chico et al. His name alone would have ensured a steady supply of class players, something that Monk didn't have a clue about.

Best football news I've heard this season to date, be nice to hear of the next one, but I fear we've seen the final chapter.
