He's just in talks at the moment but he seems likely to go. Neil Lennon, former Celtic manager, tipped to take over as caretaker manager.
PS: Now confirmed that Rodgers has in fact quit Celtic and that Foxes will offer £6 million compo if the deal is finalised.

Is he reported to be on £6M a year, I read one report that mentioned £6M, but that was to be a compensation payment from Leicester to Celtic.
In addition to Vardy and Iheanacho up front, they have very decent keepers in Schmeichel and Ward; defenders Maguire and Chilwell backed by Fuchs, Simpson, Evans and Morgan; good midfielders in Gray, Maddison, Albrighton and Barnes and I'm really liking the look of this young Belgian Youri Tielemans who I reckon could be a top class player.
There's a lot there for Rodgers to work with and if he adds extra quality, maybe Sinclair, then he could have a good team on his hands.

I often wonder where he would be today if we hadn't taken him off the scrap heap (dole queue].sacked by Watford after managing 32 games, winning 13, then sacked by Reading after winning just 6 of 23 games. His fortunes changed when Jenkins was turned down by 4 or 5 managers for our job, that Jenkins turned to the dole queue and employed him, a totally unknown. Gave him a squad that had developed good attacking play under Martinez, then became excellent defensively under Sousa, gifted with a winning team, but considered us unworthy of his talents when approached as the replacement of Laudrup.

Always thought he got shafted a bit at Liverpool, where that one great season from Suarez masked over the fact the rest of that side wasn't particularly special, Rodgers copped the flak for inevitable drop-off in form after Suarez left, and was then ushered out post-haste so they could land Klopp before anyone else beat them to it. His figures weren't horrible.

He is not a fraud but it makes me laugh when he says things like " the group" I loved that when he was here, but when I heard the same things said at loserpool and Celtic He lost his gloss finish... Have you ever seen a top band more than once on one tour,,? The first time it is personal and you feel great. The second time the same things are said and you realise the comments at the first gig were scripted and not from the heart. Leaving you feeling jaded. Brendon is a good manager and I wish him well, if he had come back to us we would still be in the premier League..... Qué Sera Sera...
