Anyone watch that excellent drama 'Quiz'? I found it really entertaining and it raised many questions in my mind. I love quizzes and captained several teams over many years winning quite a lot of medals and shields etc. Because of this I have absolutely no time for quiz cheats and for years I believed that Charles Ingram and his wife were just that - cheats.

However, after watching 'Quiz', I now have doubts. Look, I still believe that they cheated the system BUT the show raised several issues of which I was unaware: and I now have to admit that, had I sat on the jury that convicted them, and having watched this show, I would have had to vote against convicting them. My gut feeling tells me that they did it BUT the law requires that a guilty verdict should be free of any reasonable doubt. Being honest, I have to admit that, in my opinion, there WAS reasonable doubt, so I would have been obliged to acquit. Anyone else with thoughts about this?

It did seem to me it was their intention to cheat. We'll never know what the Ingrams intentions were,as they will never divulge this,(Unless some newspaper comes up with a substantial cash offer).
I think one things for sure, todays programs will have all the necessary angles covered with todays enhanced technology, having said that, technology is also on the side of the compeditor,so you never know.
As you say Ivor, an excellent drama.

Blobs, as a clue you have about 1.5 of the 4 answers in your reply. BTG, nowhere near I'm afraid but this is not a 'word' or letter based question as such. There is a little more to it.

Concentrate on the answers 2 and 3 in post #176 and find alternates for the other two. You will then have 4 answers with a common geographical theme.
