That will be until he makes a nuisance of himself by being stupid and starts asking for money to buy players.

Were you there?
I wish I'd been there :).

No, I was in the hospital with heart problems. It has been really bad in the past two months. Since I was twenty I've had tachycardia - a heart condition which causes rapid heart rate (up to 250 in min.). Normally, iit happens once in a year, but in the past two months it happened almost every week. When it happens I have to get medicine which brings the heart rate back to normal. The trouble is that the medicine makes me extremely tired for a week, and causes pain in every bone and muscle. Now I have to decide whether to continue to live with it or to have that extra nerve burnt. If the 'surgery' is successful I'll get rid of it, and if not I'll die. If they burn through the heart muscle, and it happens from time to time, then it's over. Another problem is if I refuse the surgery the next 250 per minute can kill me because when you get older your heart is not as strong as when you are young and such heart rates can be too much.

Ok, back to Swans Christmas dinner. The video was on Swans TV, and, unless Potter was drunk, I think it's nice to hear he is not going anywhere, at least not next summer. I like Potter and I like how we play football under him. @Yankee_Jack says this is not a news because in his his oppinion Potter is going to leave when the first offer is on the table. @Yankee_Jack might be right, we've seen such statements before when Martinez said something similar and then left for Wigan, but I really think Potter is enjoying what he is doing at Swansea.

Wow !That's really bad news Crojack, a terrible condition to have to live with. Without sounding too formal may I ask what the odds are on successfully severing that nerve? I take it this is laser surgery. My very best wishes for whatever path you choose.
Back to football, Yes, I believe Potter would like to stay but I fear it will eventually go sour on him with lack of financial assistance from the board.
Yes, it was Martinez who said "They'll have to drag me out of here kicking and screaming". But then the Premiership called.

Sincerely sorry to hear the news about your health, CJ. It so happens that my heart is also playing up and I'm on the list for a triple bypass........ whenever that might be. And as you know, @Ladygargar has been through the mill with her nearest and dearest, who survived a nasty attack and Borini had a jolt as well. You know that we all wish you all well.

As for Potts, I can only say that time will tell.

@CroJack that will be one awkward decision to make!. I hope whichever way you decide it works out for you.
As for Potter, he has made me smile again by getting our team to play football with a touch of arrogance .

They lead two wires through the groin vein into the heart. Then they provoke rapid heart rate and do some kind of nerves mapping. When they find the nerve, which is either damaged or one too many, they burn the muscle tissue together with the nerve. The trouble is that heart is pumping the blood and moving all the time, so it's the matter of timing. Like scoring goals . If the surgeon is Messi, then no problem (y), but if he is Benteke, then . But the odds are pretty good.

Tough, CJ. We had that procedure in my family. The surgeon said it's just like small jump leads.

As for Potter, he's just like any other badge kisser Enjoy the ride, we can always hire another driver!

Sorry to hear that CJ - it must have been terrifying for you - most cardiac surgeons err on the side of messi I think - my old man has to have a defib implant in the new year and they told him the same thing they have to tell you the risk factors so you can work out which way to go forward - for my other half there is no choice so we wait for a date - tough times - thinking of you xxx

After the recent string of results ... is this Potter thing a good idea. Just wondering out loud.
We play some good football. Had it not been for some stupid defensive mistakes and a little bit better finishing we would be in the top six right now.

We have some players for the future who are developing pretty well, and soon we'll get rid of the dead wood in the squad. It takes time to develop a new style of play and build a balanced squad. Potter is the right man in my opinion. I like how we play football and really don't care about the results this season.

I think we'll care about results if we're relegated. We are slip sliding much too easily. We do play pretty up to the box, then it becomes pretty useless inside it. Poor crosses. Poor execution by forwards - wrong place, too early or too late, too left feet, too many touches ... the list is endless.

We seem to be operating the squad like its a U23 development squad .... trouble is we're not in a U23 league. This is the money league and results, goals, mistakes and errors can cost us dearly. We don't seem hungry enough and we definitely don't work their keeper enough.

We need a left back who will work properly with whichever left wing is on the pitch. Tell them, Potter! It ought to be a resignation issue.

Naughton is too negative at left back , he has James or Montero in front of him but inevitably plays sideways or back. Grimes and Olsson feed the players in front of them !
Declan John did OK in his last game , I was surprised to see Naughton put in against Villa.
