Had one of those at Prince Philip and after it they decided that I needed a triple bypass. Still waiting as they've been treating it 'medically'.

They are transferring me to Morriston on wed for an angiogram. Feeling much better thank you.
They were brilliant up there with my other half - we are lucky to have two decent hospitals - when H was in with his heart attack they brought a woman into HDU and the paramedic handing over said to the sister - this lady is from Haverfordwest - the sister said “why didn’t you take her to withybush then?” Quick as a flash the paramedic said “cos we wanted her to live” rest up and let them look after you - you’ll be well in no time xxx

My father, my mother, my sister and several friends have all died in there but no criticism intended (my father apart but that was generations ago) as they had to pass away somewhere. On a personal note, my oncologist/urologist Neil Fenn has been absolutely brilliant with me and if the rest of the staff meet his standards, patients have little to fear. Hope I'm not tempting fate!! Mine, I mean. :( :ROFLMAO:

The things people will do not to have to spend time with their wife amazes me constantly !

Seriously though popped in to see borini this afternoon and he's doing OK. Bagged a window bed with a view over the bay !
He asked me what time was it and I told him 5 past Cardiff , he liked that !

QUEENS PARK RANGERS - Founded in 1882 they play at Loftus Road, capacity 18,439 and their nicknames are the Hoops and the Rs depending on your preference. Now under manager Steve McClaren, they finished 16th last season and presently also sit in 16th position with 10 points. Home team strip is blue and white hooped tops, white shorts and socks.

In 1966/67 QPR won the Division 3 title and in 1967 became the first Division 3 team to win the League Cup, their only major honour, which was the first to be played at Wembley. They defeated WBA 3-2 after being 0-2 down.

QPR have featured many notable players/managers in their ranks including Terry Venables, Rodney Marsh, legendary keeper Phil Parkes, outrageously talented maverick Stan Bowles, Gerry Francis, Don Givens, Dave Thomas, Dave Sexton, Ray Wilkins, Clive Allen, former Swan's manager John Hollins, Les Ferdinand and our very own Angel Rangel. Dave Clement, the father of former Swan's manager Paul, was also a popular player and tragically committed suicide at the young age of 34 by swallowing weedkiller after a severe bout of depression. RIP, Dave. Other managers include former Swan's boss Paulo Sousa, Neil Warnock, Ian Holloway, Harry Redknapp and Mark Hughes.

I can't claim to have any particular memories about QPR other than that fabulous first game under Michael Laudrup when we tuned them 5-0 on their own patch - a game that saw the emergence of the fabulous Michu. That and the expression on Mark Hughes' face at the final whistle will be forever etched in my memory.

WIGAN ATHLETIC - currently one place behind us in the table in 8th spot having the same number of points as us (16) from 10 games but their GD is 2 whilst ours is 4. Last season Wigan won the Division One title and were promoted to the Championship. Founded as recently as 1932 they play at the DW Stadium, capacity 25,138 and their home colours are blue and white stripes with blue shorts and socks. Nicknamed The Latics, their manager is Paul Cook. And we are all aware of the Swansea connection via former manager Roberto Martinez and assistant Graeme Jones.

Wigan hold an interesting record achieved in the 1953/54 season when they played Hereford United in an FA Cup match at their former ground Springfield Park. The attendance was 27,526 their record attendance and also the record attendance for two non-league clubs at a non-league ground.

There are not that many former notable players but include Jimmy Bullard, Emile Heskey, Leighton Baines and former Swans Jordi Gomez, Roberto Martinez and Shaun MacDonald (present squad).

In the 2012/13 season Wigan won their only major honour beating highly fancied Manchester City 1-0 in the FA Cup Final.

Sadly, whilst I have watched a number of our games against Wigan, I can't say that any of them were particularly memorable, so perhaps the Swans can rectify that with a famous win next Tuesday. Fingers crossed!!
