Watched part of the game meeting up with some of the lads for darts and a chat tonight. Happy with a draw. Would also like to say what a real pleasure it was to spend time with @The Blobster @Borini and @Jackflash . Thanks, guys, I really enjoyed your company. Only downside was I got the usual thrashing from Blobs at darts. But great fun nevertheless. (y):)

It was hardly a thrashing , neither of us showed any consistent form.
I was disappointed when the scum cheated an equaliser , surely their center half was interfering with play and obstructing the keepers view from an offside position. Wednesday would only have been above us until 4.50 tonight.
@Jackflash , we will venture down to your neck of the woods before you go back out to the sunshine in Turkey !

Connor Roberts had best look to his laurels if he wants to keep his berth at RB/WB for Wales. Watched 18 years old Neco Williams, once described by Steve Gerrard as 'magnificent', play for Liverpool against Arsenal last night. He laid on their late equaliser and really looked a hot prospect, putting in a committed and mature performance for one so young against quality opponents. Ryan Giggs must be rubbing his hands with glee at the future of Welsh international football with all these young players coming through.

A good call on Williams, he did a great job last night, all be it against a youth version of Arsenal.

If Cooper gets back in the groove with two wingers, Roberts will have the opportunity to be more of himself. Ayew playing in "front" of him over the last several weeks has thrown everybody off.

If Cardiff City don't comply with the FIFA ruling that they must pay the first installment of £15M of their trnsfer of Emiliano Sala to Nantes.they will be banned from the transfer market for 2 years.
Very strange how when money comes into the equation suddenly he doesn't belong to them. A far cry from the thousands of Cardiff shirts and floral tributes that surrounded the football ground regarding the death of their newly signed player. FIFA have ruled Cardiff are liable for the payment, but they still say the will contest the judgement, once again, irrispective of the grief it will once again put on the Sala fa.mily

World of difference to the professional way they dealt with Stoke (at the Britannia) as opposed to the pig's guts of a performance that we turned in at the Liberty.
They play good football under Bilic, but it doesn't surprises me. Croatia national team played excellent football under him, much better than they played last year when they reached the World Cup final. West Ham played excellent football under him in his first year at the Upton Park. They finished 7th and qualified for the Europa League. Then West Ham hierarchy failed to replace Dimitri Payet, their best player who suddenly left, and refused to invest in the squad.
Also Besiktas played great football under him, and I remember how they totally outplayed Rodger's Liverpool in the Champions League. Bilic qualified Besiktas for the CL despite not having a stadium and being forced to play home games a hundred miles away. He is a legend at Besiktas.

Bilic is a good manager and one of the funniest around. But he is also tough and ruthless behind the scene. When you don't perform you have to face this face:

Compare that to this face:

Some fantastic PL football today.

1. Great football by both Liverpool and Man City. The game had everything: great goals, chances, and VAR controversy. City should have been given two penalties, and a fair result should have been 3:3.

2. Manchester United destroyed Potter's Brighton with pace and great counter-attacking. They should've scored 6. And what a miss by Rashford from James' cross!

3. Finally, Wolves totally outplayed Villa and deserved their victory. Traore and Raul Jimenez excellent.

Apart from Liverpool and Man City, I like the way Leicester, Chelsea and Wolves play football. And if Man United start playing consistently like they did yesterday I'll eat my words and give Ole a big thumb up.

Totally agree with all of that. Some great games, fantastic pace in United's play and not much luck for Pep. Felt Citeh should have had at least one pen and the way that VAR is being used is a complete nonsense. Some teams were absolutely robbed over the weekend. Why don't they just draw a line at the players' feet and leave it at that? It's clear cut and everyone would know where they stand - or not if you get my drift.

Going back to pace, I thought that Toon's trio were incredibly quick and if the best use can be made of them by Steve Bruce, the club should be able to stay well clear of relegation. A speed merchant a la Dan James is what we need actually and bad luck for us that Garrick just got injured which will hamper his progress to the first team. Maybe Peterson will take his chance to step up.

Seems like he chose to go now rather than have his relationship 'soured' down the line and it appears to be a mutual decision as the owners wanted to keep him at least until Xmas if not longer. Reported that the players are 'devastated' by the news. Either Hearts or Hibs are being touted as his next destination as both clubs are struggling to stay in the Scottish Premier League.
