They're taking a thrashing at Everton ATM.
Yes, they were flayed by the pundits on Sky. Good enough for them.

That SHOULD happen but I've got another sneaking feeling that something of a shock might be in the offing
Half time with no score and my prediction is on course, sod it. Cardiff without much of the ball are doing well and looked dangerous a couple of times. Liverpool had better watch out - Hoilett, Mendez-Laing and Camarasa (?) are all capable of producing a worldy out of nowhere. Then there are the set pieces where Morrison is always a big threat. Liverpool had better up their game because Cardiff might dent their title hopes with a draw or even an unlikely win.

All over and 2-0 for Pool. Deserved win but have to credit Cardiff for fighting hard all the way. How Morrison could contest the penalty is beyond me. He was like an octopus wrapped around Salah. Releasing him then grabbing him again doesn't mitigate the offence and the penalty was rightly given. Very interesting run in now at both ends of the table.

Cardiff bid for Turkish striker totally rejected.
Cardiff tendered a £14M bid for Trabzonspor young striker Yusaf Yazici, only to have it rejected as the club president didn't think Cardiff were worthy of him. He stated that when they sell him, as they will, he will only be allowed to go to club where he can continue his development. This also applies to other young stars at the club.
Trabzonspor are far from a wealthy club, but are very reminiscent of our young team this season. They are presently challenging for a Champions League spot, taking the Turkish Super Lig by surprise. It's now been revealed Cardiff are prepared to up their bid to £20M but have been rejected for the same reason.
My reason for highlighting this is could you begin to imagine that pair of yank tossers having the same concern for the future of our young stars.

Two games to go. If Brighton win today it's all over for Cardiff. If Brighton draw, then Cardiff have to beat Palace to have 1% chance to survive.

What about this scenario? Brighton lose to Arsenal and Cardiff beat Palace in the next round. On the last day of the season Brighton play Manchester City (relegation and title at stake) and Cardiff play Man United (relegation and 4th place at stake).

Don't know how things stand as I write but I will credit Cardiff with one thing - they are fighters. They don't have much else about them but I would never write them off until the final whistle blows. Got to admit that I'm looking forward to the derby games next season though - providing we do something to shore up that leaky defence of ours. Cardiff are all about set pieces and I would guess that Sean Morrison is licking his lips at the prospect of facing us if they do go down.

They are down. I have family visitors over and was out for a meal, I asked the waiter to check the scores, he came back with the excellent news they'd lost 3-2. Even the meal tasted better.

I see Newport County are still in the League.2 playoffs having had a 1-1 draw away at Morecambe, good luck in the replay.
