There is something specific going on here with respect to those three players. I refuse to believe that they have not been playing because they are not good enough ... especially with what we have seen on the field from the likes of McCrap. Potter must be under orders not to play them.

I've always considered players' salaries obscene, and I get it that the Swans has to be a self financing entity (with our current owners).
I'm also happy to support a mid table Championship club with ties to the community.
However, I'm struggling to see what's in it for the Yanks.
They are unwilling to support reinforcement to get us promotion;
They surely can't sell out for a profit.
That leaves one option - to sell our rising stars to finance their dividends.
That means selling the likes of Roberts and James and replacing them with who knows what.
That does not make me happy. 😡😡

Exactly Yankee, there's no way Potter would want them gone with his squad being as thin as it is. Possibly as you say they have been withdrawn from the squad in an effort to force them into requesting a move.

And Rodon who has been our best and most consistent player so far.

Promotion means more investment, high wages and a lot of headache. On the other hand, you can float in the Championship, be relatively safe from relegation if you have a good manager, and year after year make a good profit.

Premier League = high risk + huge investments + probably low profit

Championship = low risk + no investments + posibly huge profit

Trying to stay in the Championship is not easy. Ask Sunderland and Wigan.
Easier than staying in the Premier League. I am not impressed with the Championship at all. WBA who are one of the top team showed and created nothing against us from open play. We beat Sheffield United away, and we should have beaten Leeds. We all know how we lost to Stoke. All these top teams are nothing special.

Staying in the Prem is all about money. The Championship is more of a level playing field.
