I didn't see the game but having looked at the stats it's difficult to understand the score, I can only assume the difference was clinical finishing.

:(they only had two shots in the first half but scored 3. We never looked like scoring. We bossed them but created nothing. They waited for the opportunity and did us on the break with consummate ease, it was men against boys :poop:

No, JF, Norwich were superior in almost every facet of the game. Too many of our players had an off day (to put it very mildly). VdH was a disgrace; Fer looked fat and unfit never remotely near the pace of the game; Connor and Fulton were both quiet and ineffective (new contract syndrome?); Bersant had a day off; Oli tried as usual but was never a threat and no one could lay claim to having a satisfactory day except Dan James who was the best of a bad bunch. And even he has much to learn, often taking the wrong option by cutting infield into trouble when he had the opportunity to use his pace down the flank to turn the defence and get behind them. The odd occasion he did manage that was entirely wasted by some appalling crossing. He really must do some work on his final ball because that is a glaring deficiency for a professional winger. All in all, a bad day at the office for the team and best forgotten....... after the lessons have been learned. Stats (Swans first).

Possession: 56-44 Shots: 13-11 OT: 6-7 Corners: 7-2 Fouls: 11-13 GOALS: 1-4 and that last stat tells you all you need to know.

As for Wilf Bony, he looked like what he is: a player returning to action after a very long layoff but he did show brief glimpses of what he can be. However, a word of warning. Strikers need good service to score, so our midfield had better buck their ideas up to make the most of him.

They were good in every aspect, weren't they? Fast on the break, good crosses, athletic centre backs who read the game and blocked most of our crosses.
As usual, McBurnie spent a lot of time moaning to the ref. I'm not saying it wasn't justified but it's about time he realised it does no good.

That ref was absolute pants and his linos were just as poor !
One of their players bear hugged Oli on the half way line and swung him around about 180 Deg ....the ref was about 2yards away..he allowed Norwich to carry on running at us....the guy in front of the west stand did not seem to know what offside was and would only indicate which way a throw was when the ref pointed the direction.:poop::poop::poop:
