Those raking cross-field passes a la Ashley Williams seem to be a new part of Mike's game this season - I don't remember it as a particular signature of his last season. Same with how far forward he regularly comes now.

He did that a fair bit last year, but has got the bit between his teeth this year. Also his accuracy on those long balls has improved, keep it quiet or the sharks will pounce in January.

He is a fantastic attacking full-back. Did I just say that? Attacking full-back? Yes. His range of passing is phenomenal. And although many have voted Dyer for the MOTM against Hull, Big Mike was by far our best player.
