So it's the first Christmas on the forum and Max and I want to wish you all the happiest of times over the Festive period and sincerely hope that the New Year will bring you all good health, happiness and prosperity. You deserve it!

We also want to thank you for your kind and valued support. We wouldn't have a forum if it weren't for you. I appreciate that we are few in number but we happy band of brothers (and lovely sister) make this a pleasant place to be and we will always take quality over quantity every time. And you are all quality!

Whilst we aren't that many, I notice that we regularly have a good number of guests reading, and I hope enjoying, the content. Sometimes that number is in excess of 20. Well this Xmas greeting and good wishes are also extended to you wherever you are. You are very welcome as are Swans' fans everywhere. If you want to progress from 'guesting' to posting in the future, please feel free to join us. You will have noticed that we don't bite on here. :)

In conclusion, we want to thank you all again. It's a pleasure to share your company.

Compliments of the season to you all from Turkey. Christmas out here is quite a low key event, this year once again I'll be sitting down to lunch with about 15 expat Santa's at a restaurant that specialises in a traditional Christmas lunch complete with the flaming football size Christmas pudding & brandy sauce. The bonus for me this year is I have some family coming out for the New Year, which like most other countries is a full on celebration.

Enjoy mate , Lindy and I are going to the Grove golf club in Porthcawl for our lunch. We've gone there the last few years , not cheap but well worth it !
Added bonus is she has promised to drive this year so I can have a drink , she's on our insurance every year but hasn't driven ( except constantly from the back seat !) for 3 years !

I started my festivities last night with a visit to @Ladygargar and her lovely family. I was given a really warm welcome and then fed with a veritable mountain of melt-in-the-mouth roast beef with all the trimmings. Shamed to say that I ate the lot because, as they say, it was truly scrumptious. What a cook!! And I still managed to finish off a dish of apple pie and custard. :) Thank you, LadyGG, for a wonderful evening with you and yours.

Tomorrow my daughter and her mum will be along for Xmas dinner, so looking forward to that and, with luck, will see @jackodiamonds over the holiday with his intended. Mind you, if he brings his guitar he'll be lucky to be allowed in. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
