JKENKINS IS GONE

It's crazy to think that the James saga was the hill Jenkins finally was willing to die over. After all the other shit he let happen. Has anyone ruined their reputation more so quickly. Maybe the Americans sold him a bag of goods saying he'd have total control when they bought the club, but Jenkins put himself in the situation of having no power. He then went along with it, doing their bidding for years. I get they all wanted a return on their investment but how did they fall for the guys they sold to? For all the good Jenkins did his ultimate legacy will be selling the club to who they did. For goodness sakes he led Swansea to it's first trophy and to Europe but pissed it all away for some cash. It makes me sad to think that. A man who should be remembered as doing great things for the club lost almost all of it for a few bucks. Maybe a miracle will happen and it will all get turned around but honestly I wonder how far will we sink?

Lets not get sentimental over him. He knowingly sold us down the river for a personal fortune of £M's, he deserves everything he possibly has coming to him. He had no sympathy for the fans when he was out in America doing deals behind everyones backs. Money turned his head.
I don't believe for one minute the James saga was what he was prepared to die over. Do you honestly think he approached Leeds and cancelled the deal without the knowledge of the yanks? Recent fan pressure and Trust proceedings finally seeped through his thick skin.

If it saddens you that much, put back the £millions you thieved out of the club before resigning.

I do think he's the one that didn't sign the paperwork over James and essentially cancelled the deal. He wouldn't be resigning/fired today if he didn't. I agree that it did finally seep through his skin the ridicule thus why he did what he did. I guess I feel sad that he was greedy and was fooled by the Americans. I do genuinely believe he cared/cares for the club. I guess I really feel sad that someone would sell their legacy for some coin.

It's laughable he can make a statement like that when the t@t was the instigator of all the problems that arose over the past few years. If 3yrs ago there was no Jenkins, today there would be no problem.

Mediation before possible litigation is due at the end of the month. Is Jenkins getting out whilst the going is good? The Trust seems to think it has a pretty strong case. Well he can run but he can't hide as Joe Louis once said. IF, and I repeat IF, he and the Wanks did indulge in any skullduggery during the share sale process, he will be answerable for that whether he is still at the club or not. It is my fervent wish that the Wanks follow him out of the door at the first opportunity. The club is still an attractive proposition for a genuine purchaser, so let's hope that that happens before the owners ruin us completely.

I commend you on your tolerance but I openly admit that I don't feel 'sad'. What I do feel, however, does at least rhyme because I feel MAD, boiling fcuking mad at what this greedy, apology of a so called fan has done to this club and its supporters.:mad:

I undestand it sucks where Swansea are now and Jenkins played plenty a role in that. But the man did accomplish some good things while he was in charge so I can't totally hate the man. Was his overall effect on Swansea good or bad? I feel from where they were when he started to where he finished it was good. Now maybe things will continue in a downward spiral and it won't be an overall positive but right now I still feel his overall impact on the club was positive.

I would agree with you he didn't sign the paperwork, but didn't do it off his own bat. I think he was instructed not to do so by his employers. had it been a personal decision then I'm pretty sure he would have mentioned it in his statement, being keen to at least have a little saving grace in the eyes of the fans. Actually I feel for once the fans have the owners on the backfoot a little, sustained pressure may yet have it's rewards.
