Wow! How can I buy shares in this company?
Firstly you contact a company called SCFC, it's owned by some yanks, they in turn will refer you to a guy called Jenkins in Wales UK. he oversees all illegal transactions this side of the pond. He gained his credentials with the yanks by being a bankrupt chairman with the said company, and due to that chairmanship was able to convert his bankruptcy into being a multi-millionaire. Obviously if you are fortunate enough to purchase shares you will be sworn to secrecy, and support anything that enables the shareholders investment to increase, irrespective of the outcome that may result from it within the company. I would suggest one of the requirements would be rhino type thick skin, as bleeding the company dry by shareholders doesn't go down to well with the people of Swansea, who have watched this company rise like the phoenix from the ashes and became a very well respected company within a group of 20 top companies for a period of 8 yrs. Good luck with your purchase, and a word of advise, if you live in Swansea, remain anonymous.

It would be interesting to see what our first team wage bill is right now when we have got rid of Bony, Montero and Carroll.

High earners:

Fer, Van der Hoorn, Naughton, Olsson, Dyer, Routledge and Narsingh.

Let's say they are on average £35.000 a week. That's £245.000 a week.

Players with new contracts:

McBurnie, Fulton and Roberts.

Average £25.000 a week? That's £75.000 a week.

Senior players bought in the last summer transfer windiw:

Celina, Asoro, McKay and John.

Average £25.000 a week? That's £100.000 a week.

U23 wages:

James, Byers, Dhanda, Harries.

Max £40.000 a week.

Others:

Nordfeldt, Mulder.

Average £20.000 a week? That's 40.000 a week.

All in all, that's approx. £500.000 a week, £2 m per month, and £24 m per year. We must not forget other academy players, coaching staff, Jenkins, Pearlman and all other Svansea City employees.

Our wage bill must still be too high for the Championship, something like £40 - £45 m. We have to go down to something between £25 - £30 m.

Could be a lot worse, they should have focused more on selling Narsingh, Olssen, Routledge and Naughton. Easier said than done though.

Swansea City conceded 0.61 goals from corners & indirect free-kicks per game under Francesco Guidolin, the worst of any manager since 15/16. The Italian used a man-marking system.

Graham Potter: 0.37 - zonal
Bob Bradley: 0.55 - zonal
PaulClement by far the best using a zonal system (0.08)

Swans have conceded 17 goals from set-pieces this season. Many people think that's extremely poor and the reason why we are not in the play-off places. It's not. Just to put things in the right perspective --> league leaders Norwich have conceded 15.

But to put a little more perspective on it, the problem isn't as critical when you look at the other stats.
We have scored just 1 goal more than we have conceded. Swansea. For 49 ……… Against 48
Norwich on the other hand have scored 30 more than they conceded. For 78...…….. Against 48.

So it seems the league position is more about scoring than conceding, being we both conceded the same amount.
