Just been trucking along wondering how best to steer clear of this bloody virus. I have to go shopping to eat so now wear gloves to help prevent germs from the trolley handles cos, sure as hell, the supermarkets won't sanitize them. If I'm doing a small shop then I use my own carriers rather than a basket. As for football, I tend to agree with @Borini about our boring football but they are still our team so on we go supporting them.

Hard to think about football much when there's nothing but Covid-19 stories on every sports channel, news , TV, radio, billboard and casual conversation. Over here they've cancelled (oh sorry, "suspended") every major sports league, cancelled the world curling, women's ice hockey and ice skating championships and in my province of B.C. banned any gatherings of more than 250 people. How the Swans do in a (likely) closed and empty stadium on Saturday is hard to get up for in the face of all that. But still hope we win!

On a lighter side. A once famous goalkeeper is quoted as saying - the only protection you need is gloves. I always wore gloves and as many will tell you, I never caught a f.......ing thing.
